Shell Drawings
This is me in class working on shell drawings. The shells came out alright, however, they were the first ones i had drawn so they could deffinitly be improved apon. If i had to do this over again i would add more shading to show the lines of the shells better. The most difficult part about these drawings were trying to make them look 3-D. From this piece i learned how to shade a little better and how to draw lines that help the picture look more 3-D.
I think this was a pretty fun project. it went well all though I think I could have done a little better on the minor details. I like how i did the left side of the body better than the right. The face was a little difficult because of how is face is constructed in the original picture. If I had to do this again, i would slow down and spend more time on the smaller bones and the minor details so that the overall picture looked better. The hardest part about this picture was his left leg or the one on the right when you look at it. Because it was bent, it was more difficult to draw. From this piece i learned how to pay more attention to minor details so that my artwork comes at neater.
